Barcelona - Tallinn and Minsk-Barcelona flights bought. Just need to get the others in agreement about getting from Tallinn to Minsk now and it's sorted!

We're on both the 05.55 from Dublin and Tallinn Jeff - not something we haven't done before! Get a few hours in Riga city centre en route to Minsk - can think of a worse way to spend a few hours.

The cheaper options left seem to require 6am flights from Dublin and Tallinn though 😴. Daytime flights around £250. Glad I got in reasonably early for £170.

Stephen's right, there are still plenty of options and I don't think leaving it for a while will cost you too much extra. I was pricing yesterday morning and a Dublin return via Frankfurt was around £190. Or £128 single route with whatever else for Minsk. I'm just waiting on confirmation from a couple of mates before booking anything, so hopefully there'll be some variations of routes to Tallinn at reasonable prices come January.

That one's still showing at 106 quid right now on 'Skyscanner' Stuarty - a gift (still plenty of options available with a wee look at their site).

Dublin-Oslo-Tallinn SAS Airlines then Air Baltic. Leave Dublin around 12:30pm gets you in around Tallinn 10:30pm on the Thursday night (4 hour stopover in Oslo), not sure what the price is now but was around £90 all in.

PS - the train connection takes about twenty minutes from the airport therefore it's a gift to reach the city - the train will go to central station then either dander or take the metro (one stop) to Gamla Stan which is the old, scenic part of town.

Not sure if you are going one way (ie heading on to Minsk) but there are still flights showing from Dublin via Stockholm on 'Skyscanner' for 141 quid which seems quite reasonable to me over a week after the venues were announced. You have about a six hour changeover in Stockholm but that's nothing a couple bottles of Stoli wouldn't see right (or even venture into town of you haven't been before - have a wander around Gamla Stan and /or Sodermalm where you can quench your thirst in one of the Lion pubs at each of those locations at less than four quid a pint).

Helsinki and get the ferry across to Tallin? Know a few done the reverse for Finland away and really enjoyed it.

correct, this is no big deal can't see this one anywhere nearl selling out just realised their home game in 2013 was Luxembourg's first home victory in a World Cup qualifier since they beat Turkey 2-0 on 22 October 1972 Northern Ireland will also have another friendly in and around 13 October (opposition and venue TBC).

From the fans pov, certainly (esp on a school night), but maybe a handy enough wee loosener for Michael and the team before the big one on the Monday? One more reason to get off to a flying start in the four opening games. Six years on and it mightn't be too different a line-up from that which screwed up in Luxembourg: Carroll, JEvans, Hodson, DLafferty, McAuley, Ferguson, McGinn, Davis, Norwood, Ward, Paterson (O'Connor, McKay and Grigg off the bench) 10 Sept 2013 - Luxembourg 3 v 2 NI, Att. 1,114 And Hughes, McGivern, Baird, Brunt, KLafferty and Shiels featured in the home game 12 months previously: 11 Sept. 2012 - NI 1 v 1 Luxembourg, Att. 10,674

Rubbish friendly. Tickets would need to be cheap and freebies handed out to youth groups to get a half respectable crowd.

Says tickets won't be on sale until next summer, so there'll be a few people disappointed not to have a ticket for this in their stocking on Christmas morning.

Joachim Low - Running scared of OWC

Already preparing his Exit Plan before he faces us? Germany coach Joachim Low admitted that his time in charge of the national team is coming to an end and that he would be tempted by Real Madrid. Low won the World Cup in 2014 with Germany but in recent times the team has disappointed at this year's World Cup and in the Nations Cup. "I realise that the major part of my time here is now in the past and I need to think about what I want to do afterwards, in my plans are to coach a club which I did before being national team coach," said Low. "I would prefer not to continue in Germany, I think that my future is more likely to abroad. Real Madrid? They are an interesting club for any coach." https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2018/12/09/5c0d28a546163f88808b4568.html
