Joachim Low - Running scared of OWC

On one of the GAWA 'bakebook' pages that it has been confirmed as Berlin - AGAIN. I wonder where all these Nostardamuses get their inside information from?

    Flights

We're on both the 05.55 from Dublin and Tallinn Jeff - not something we haven't done before! Get a few hours in Riga city centre en route to Minsk - can think of a worse way to spend a few hours.

    Flights

That one's still showing at 106 quid right now on 'Skyscanner' Stuarty - a gift (still plenty of options available with a wee look at their site).

PS - the train connection takes about twenty minutes from the airport therefore it's a gift to reach the city - the train will go to central station then either dander or take the metro (one stop) to Gamla Stan which is the old, scenic part of town.

    Flights

Not sure if you are going one way (ie heading on to Minsk) but there are still flights showing from Dublin via Stockholm on 'Skyscanner' for 141 quid which seems quite reasonable to me over a week after the venues were announced. You have about a six hour changeover in Stockholm but that's nothing a couple bottles of Stoli wouldn't see right (or even venture into town of you haven't been before - have a wander around Gamla Stan and /or Sodermalm where you can quench your thirst in one of the Lion pubs at each of those locations at less than four quid a pint).

    Euro 2020 Qualifying Draw

Flying from Tallinn to Minsk via Riga Sinti which is reasonable enough and does away with the visa restrictions as well - early afternoon arrival on the 10th, book into our 'luxury' hotel then head out and see what Minsk has in store for us. Got booked up yesterday with all the flights from Dublin to Tallinn via the 'Dam, then onto Minsk and back to Dublin via a wee sneaky night in Warsaw (to see if Jonny will be buying any drink!!) for around three ton so happy enough with that especially as the hotels in all three cities are peanuts

    Euro 2020 Qualifying Draw

I remember seeing that on a banner along with another one saying 'come back when you've won nineteen' at a certain football ground I was at about twenty years ago and we all know how that turned out 🤗

Short train journey anyway JQ so no big deal either way. By the way had you any hassle on that train down to Dublin for the game?

Amersfoort - I think I was last there about '83 so thanks for making me feel very old today Richard!!

    Euro 2020 Qualifying Draw

I was hoping that the game would be in Eindhoven Richard to be honest as I've been in the "Dam more times than I care to remember going back thirty five odd years but I'll just go with the flow. The Keukenhof will unfortunately be closed by then but I'm sure we'll come up with something!!

Cheers for that KCNI and as someone who has been in the 'Dam about twenty five times (believe it or not it used to be the only international airport bar the Costas etc you could fly direct to from Belfast) as we used to fly there as a hub before moving on I'm only too aware of the price hikes. We had a 'Baldrick' plan for the game in Yugoslavia in '87 where we would fly to the 'Dam then get a train to Yugoslavia - we never left the 'Dam 😮 Hotel booked anyway - seven of us and it's a wee bit more than we would normally pay but it's a year away so what the hell (just stay away from the Bobbies!!). Next task - Estonia and Belarus.

    Euro 2020 Qualifying Draw

By the way is there NOBODY working today as everyone and his wife seems to be on 'booking.com' looking at hotels/hostels in the 'Dam!!

    Euro 2020 Qualifying Draw

There are still direct flights from Dublin to the 'Dam at the minute for less than a ton or via London for one hundred and fifty - anybody who pays that kind of money quoted needs certified.

And our hotel room was burgled and she even took our match tickets the inconsiderate bitch. Unfortunately we were able to get two more 🙄

Right, here's a wee tip if you want to finance your trip to Germany. I went to the beer festival in Stuttgart for a few days before our game in Hannover and I brought a few 'Will Grigg' t-shirts which I bought for two quid in Primark and I handed them out in one of the beer tents - had I managed to bring 5,000 of them with me I could have sold them in about half and hour as I was nearly raped for them as the man in more popular in Germany than that bitch Merkel (wouldn't be hard I suppose).

Now can we please sort out the games so we play the Fatherland in October (and preferably in the south of the country) - PLEASE.
