    Starting line up v Holland

Peacock-Farrell Smith Cathcart J. Evans Lewis Whyte Saville Davis McNair Dallas Magennis Not a fan of playing Corey on the left side of midfield just because it is seems more defensive. Might work as part of a defensive unit in Belfast but away against the Dutch he would be ineffective there in my opinion. Dallas's ability to support with defensive duties but also have a run at their right back gets him into the left side of my midfield.

    Starting line up v Holland

No Shane Lavery or Ciaron Brown in the U21's so assume they are in the senior squad?

Cardiff. Played the full 90 mins in the league cup last week. Has a ridiculous haircut.

    Squad for Luxembourg and Germany

I'm surprised Lee Hodson hasn't been called up now that Michael Smith and Jordan Jones are definitely out. Match fit, has had a good start to the season at Gillingham and has played against Germany before so wouldn't be phased by the occasion. Wouldn't be anywhere near my starting 11, but if Connor McLaughlin picked up a knock then we are pretty limited at RB and don't really have the ability to shuffle the pack anymore with Jordan Jones being out and 'he who shall not be named' retiring early. We probably wouldn't have the ability to shift Dallas or McNair to RB as they will be needed elsewhere.

    Squad for Luxembourg and Germany

The Scottish Sun is saying Jordan Jones is definitely out of the squad for Luxembourg and Germany.

    Starting 11 v Germany

I'd put the eleven below out against Luxembourg. Not risking any players that are 'needed' against Germany unless they are lacking match fitness due not having the game time (BPF, Saville, Magennis etc) Peacock-Farrell McLaughlin Flanagan Morris Ferguson C. Evans Saville Thompson Magennis Boyce Whyte Against ze Germans I would go with: Peacock-Farrell Smith (McL if injured) Cathcart Evans Lewis Dallas Saville Davis McNair Jones Washington

    Squad v Estonia 21.3.19

It has already been mentioned in another thread... but to put things into perspective.. below is a list of the 33 players that have been in the squad recently. Players in red are almost certainly unavailable due to injury. Players in orange have had very limited game time/starts recently due to injury or being dropped. I can't honestly remember going into a campaign being this thin on the ground. Not to mention key players retiring after the Euros too or the fact that hardly any of our strikers are finding the net for club or country either. I suppose it is 'just' Estonia and Belarus (I hope that doesn't come back to haunt me). Goalkeepers: Michael McGovern (Norwich City), Trevor Carson (Motherwell), Bailey Peacock-Farrell (Leeds United), Conor Hazard (on loan at Falkirk). Defenders: Aaron Hughes (Hearts), Gareth McAuley (Glasgow Rangers), Jonathan Evans (Leicester City), Craig Cathcart (Watford), Conor McLaughlin (Millwall), Patrick McNair (Middlesbrough), Jamal Lewis (Norwich City), Michael Smith (Hearts), Lee Hodson (Rangers), Tom Flanagan (Sunderland), Bobby Burns (Livingston, loan). Midfielders: Steven Davis (Southampton), Niall McGinn (Aberdeen), Corry Evans (Blackburn Rovers), Shane Ferguson (Millwall), Stuart Dallas (Leeds United), George Saville (Middlesbrough), Oliver Norwood (Middlesbrough), Jordan Jones (Kilmarnock), Gavin Whyte (Oxford United), Jordan Thompson (Blackpool). Forwards: Kyle Lafferty (Rangers), Connor Washington (Sheffield United) Josh Magennis (Bolton Wanderers), Jamie Ward (Charlton Athletic loan), Liam Boyce (Burton Albion), Paul Smyth (on loan at Accrington), Will Grigg (Sunderland) Kyle Vassell (Rotherham United).
