    Euro 2020 Qualifying Draw

Exactly - some buck eejits were saying that getting relegated was a good thing. It certainly wasn't. There's too much confusion over this. Third and fourth place don't get play offs at all as far as I can tell now. I'm hearing that the four winners of the Nations League Group B might not even get the chance to play their play offs if they are already qualified, which is farcical. It could mean we get a play off spot despite finishing bottom of our group, as out Nations League position was 24. It would be like putting Fulham v Newcastle straight into the FA Cup final now, and have them both relegated. Imagine if we finish bottom of the group then get a play off and qualify. It would be ridiculous if these rumours are true. And what if Cheatzerland win their group and the Nations League? Do they get to qualify twice then? It's all ridiculous.

Score Prediction v Rep of Ireland

I don't want you to head to the Leisure centre for tomorrow night will not be a blur. Don't tell me modern life is rubbish. First goal in the 13th minute? I'm off the booze mate - coffee and TV for this one but will still sing a song or 2 on my own.

    indeed a cracker mate! ???

Score Prediction v Rep of Ireland

Aye but yer missing thon fact that we will bate them 3-0. If I was a betting man...even Damon Albarn predicts a 3-0 away win (and he lives in a huge house near Ballymena, to Stereotype it a bit). I thinks the Girls and Boys will have a great time and we will play till the end. "confidence is a prefence of the Ulsterman who bate themmuns 3-0" #windsorPARKLIFE

Score Prediction v Rep of Ireland

Fake Ireland 0-3 Original Ireland. Hat-trick of own goals from Poppy McClaim.

    Sell Out v Austria?

Some fans are fickle and a lot of complete buck eejits. It could be because we basically caned Bosnia-Herzegovina and Israel in the last two matches and were brilliant entertainment to watch (despite somehow losing the first match), so now they want a piece of it. Plus we normally smash 5 goals past Austria when we play them in November. Incidentally Michael O'Neill double onion bagged them that night.

    Score Prediction v Israel

1-0 to Northern Ireland. Grigg to play out of his skin and catch fire many times, but Jamal Lewis to bullet the winner from 60 yards in the 93rd minute.

    Post mortem

Gutted we didn't pinch a last minute 2-2. If we had been playing like that in a lot of previous matches, we'd have won games 2-0 to 4-0. They spent about 1 minute in our penalty box in the whole match yet scored 2 and hit the post. That's football but it seems crazy for us to dominate a game for once and have nothing to show. Saville penalty first minute was another what if. If we had got the penalty and scored that, I think we could have gone on to be 3-0 up by half time. I don't fear them away, however looking at the way the next matches fall - if Bosnia-Herzegovina beat Austria on Tuesday, they'll be 6 points clear of the other two teams already, meaning if we draw with Austria next month, Bosnia would only need a point v. us to win the group. FInally, Will Grigg needs to start against Israel.
  9. This is a tough one - never played them before but home advantage, full house and fired up lads on the pitch, I'm going for it: Northern Ireland 2-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina Don't care who scores, but would be nice to see Grigger come off the bench and nab a 99th minute winner from 61 yards.
  10. What???? This is a post about match predictions. I cannot see yours. Do we all assume a 5-6 from you...? (The figures you used). Ealing Green: Northern Ireland 5 -6 Bosnia Herzegovina (Or Not?) Please stay on topic.
  11. I'm confused here. Is Asmir Begovic not in the squad? He's played the last 42 Premier League matches in a row for my club team, AFC Bournemouth. Seems odd to leave him out right?

    Score Prediction v Panama

3-1 defeat. We never do well in those away friendlies in America. Apart from the Caribbean games, have we ever even won in mainland America?

I cannot argue with that, and I'm a Glenman. Because at the time Glentoran humbled Lokomotiv Leipzig, Spartak Moscow and many others at the Oval. Gone are those days, but Johnny Jameson was uncapped due to the Sunday thing, yet he went to Espana 82. Goalkeeper George Dunlop was third choice in 82 and 4th in 86, I'm not sure that will happen again, but Gavin needs to be included.

You never know in life. I still wonder what Ollie Ralph and Gary McCartney could have done for Northern Ireland. Let's not forget big GMac who waited until he was older to move across the water and then he decided to dick the Ukraine and make a bigger stamp than even Gerry Taggart did. Across the water reason doesn't work with me Clint - remember: "He's Smith, he's Smith. he's Andy Andy Smith" (he didn't look out of place during a 0-0 draw with Champions League superstars, yet did Preston or Sheffield United even care?)
  15. Still no update on the stadium and city. When is the deadline?

    Central America tour

Indeed. This is what these types of matches are for. Let's not forget that Billy Bingham ALWAYS took Irish League players to the World Cup, and I think he capped around 15 Irish League players in his times as manager. Stevie McBride and John Devine being ones I remember vividly as a child.

    Starting XI v South Korea

Haven't seen injury updates or anything but I'd go with: McGovern (Carson in second half) McLoughlin Hughes (replace at HT) Evans Lewis Davis (captain) Saville McGinn Dallas Lafferty Boyce But might also be good to drop the likes of Evans, Hughes etc. and try some unknowns but I think we'll be all out for the win here. Looking forward to see Saville again - thought he was excellent v. Cheatzerland away.

    South Korea Match Predictions

Half ate? It was half ten actually, not half ate, unless the time difference changes on the Lisburn till Donaghadee bypass and I was none the wiser as I'd me neck chewing a pastie bap. Is yer man Son from Tottingham playing or not? Quare job marking him if yer no Aaron Hughes. Be tempted till stick Saville on him - he would fix him.

    South Korea Match Predictions

I'll show ye two real life photos I took. Tell me which one ye'd ate, I won't give away which is which, BUT one is from NORTHERN Ireland, the other is from SOUTHERN Korea. One has dog in it. The other doesn't. I ate both but still have my favourite:

    Central America tour

I suggest we all buy green and white Panama hats and sail down the canal with a carryout pretending it's the Lagan. Most exciting away tour in years, missed the 2004 one so I know I will regret it if I miss this one.
  21. The Bosnia Herzegovina goalkeeper in horrendous, always making errors. He had about 5 matches at AFC Bournemouth in 2007 and cost us about 15 points with blunders. Brighton home and Carlisle home he was atrocious. Did the same again in his second spell especially v. West Ham. So we shouldn't have any trouble scoring against them if Begovic does nets.
  22. Jonny

    South Korea

Why do we call them North Korea and South Korea instead of Northern Korea and Southern Korea? Our name is Northern Ireland not North Ireland. Can we not at least have some consistency here? The Republic of Ireland v. The Democratic People's Republic of Korea also sounds ridiculous. Should they add the "ern" or should we lose ours?
  23. Jonny

    Central America tour

Wouldn't you love it if we bate them away and then they go till England and smash them at Elland Road 3-0.
  24. Jonny

    Central America tour

Was only about 80 p so it was. You'll all be eating them in May - June. Although in fairness, I hope the team get better grub!
