was that 1 of their 2 shots on target EG
  2. South Korea Match Predictions

actually got this score prediction right
  3. South Korea

decent game and atmosphere for a friendly, as said we started poorly and the early goal set us back but we recovered with the great set piece and Smyth's tidy finish late on, Washington did well when he came on was the disallowed goal before our equalizer offside or for a foul? considering the players missing a good result, new players all done well & great to see McNair & Cathcart back Is it just me, much prefer an evening KO under the lights
  4. Starting XI v South Korea

Ward usually a big loss but not on this occassion, gives some new players a chance to come out & impress MON think we may have won with a strong line up, im going for a score draw now
  5. Starting XI v South Korea

good question Ernie, are they unlimited or up to 7 subs?
  6. Starting XI v South Korea

dying to see Smyth get even a 30 minute go at the Korean's, between him & Jones should be interesting thought Lavery was needed for the Iceland U21 game?
  7. Starting XI v South Korea

Carson McLaughlin Cathcart J. Evans Lewis Magennis Saville McNair Norwood Jones Washington Davis & Lafferty out huge blows for us
  8. Starting XI v South Korea

at this rate will we have 11 fit players? saying on UTV sport Laffs, McGinn, and Dallas all out is that definite? confirmed below: Northern Ireland captain Steven Davis, Kyle Lafferty, Stuart Dallas and Niall McGinn will miss Saturday's friendly against South Korea at Windsor Park. Southampton midfielder Davis was first to withdraw from the squad because of a hamstring injury. Davis has missed Southampton's last five games with the injury. He was followed later on Thursday by Hearts striker Lafferty (thigh), Leeds United winger Dallas (thigh) and Aberdeen's Niall McGinn (groin). The withdrawals mean manager Michael O'Neill could turn to the U21s to swell his squad. Lewis targets 'amazing' debut for NI New deal gives O'Neill World Cup chance NI keeper Carson eyes place on village mural However, he is unsure if he would actually select any of Ian Barraclough's players given the senior game is sandwiched between two huge U21 qualifiers, against Spain and Iceland, in their bid to reach Euro 2019. "We have to be careful with the players given the time of year it is and the nature of the game. "The game will provide an opportunity for some of those players like Jordan Jones and Jamal Lewis and one or two others. "The U21s play on Thursday so there is always the opportunity to add one or two of those players from that squad into the senior game as well. "If an U21 player or players come in, it won't just be for the experience - it will be because we believe they can contribute as well. They also have a game on Monday so we also have to balance that." Northern Ireland squad: Goalkeepers: Michael McGovern (Norwich City), Trevor Carson (Motherwell), Conor Hazard (Falkirk on loan) Defenders: Aaron Hughes (Hearts), Gareth McAuley (West Brom), Jonny Evans (West Brom), Craig Cathcart (Watford), Conor McLaughlin (Millwall), Lee Hodson (Rangers), Paddy McNair (Sunderland), Jamal Lewis (Norwich City) Midfielders: Oliver Norwood (Fulham on loan), Corry Evans (Blackburn Rovers), Shane Ferguson (Millwall), George Saville (Millwall), Jordan Jones (Kilmarnock) Forwards: Josh Magennis (Charlton Athletic), Jamie Ward (Cardiff City on loan), Conor Washington (QPR), Liam Boyce (Burton Albion)

    thanks Richard
  10. South Korea

we usually are in North stand going to the Kop west stand for this one, we come in from the adelaide train over the railway bridge/steps can we access the kop ok from there i assume?
  11. Starting XI v South Korea

didn't see Davis in training, looks like Cathcart, McNair and Jonny Evans all will play a part, so could be as below with changes on 2nd half Dallas & Jones getting forward to support Laffs Carson McLaughlin Cathcart Evans Lewis Dallas Saville McNair Norwood Jones Lafferty
  12. Starting XI v South Korea

Dallas def in for Ward, will Davis be fit not in Southampton's FA cup squad today? of not McNair to come in if fit was Evans injured yesterday or as i heard off due to illness? quite a few have played little or no football the past lot of weeks. McLaughlin. Cathcart, Ward, Davis, Norwood, add a few other squad players to that list too!
  13. South Korea Match Predictions

Ulster fry heart attack for me anytime Jonny
  14. Squad v South Korea - new faces

Happy to see Carson there, squad bit of a let down after the speculation of Goss etc. I would say Brunt & Mannus have all but retired, Lewis Brunt's ideal replacement, Is Jordan Jones not injured? unsure if we'll see Grigg again So many either out of favour or injured: Davis, Cathcart, McNair, Norwood, Ferguson, Ward, Where is Flanagan? How Hodson & Corry Evans deserve a place is beyond me
  15. South Korea

I see only around 600 tickets left for sale and no hospitality left should be a good turnout for a friendly, hoping to see a few new faces
  16. South Korea Match Predictions

Son to score Spurs to lose agree with jmain, Jones will terrify their defence but will Will Grigg? 2-1 OWC
  17. South Korea

    tickets arrived today
  18. Squad v South Korea - new faces

yes it would be unfair on Mannus he has to feature with McGovern & Carson I think Ferguson is injured, maybe Ward too, unlikey Cathcart & McNair will feature against SK either Peacock's time will come soon Camps maybe considered or is he in U21's
  19. Home game kick-off times

really spolied lately with the 7-45 kick off times, always a better atmosphere imo
  20. March Friendlies?

though they have a positive side to them as a few younger up and coming players should get a game
  21. March Friendlies?

i thought the idea of the nations league was to avoid friendlies, im not complaining though as will miss at least one of those matches
  22. UEFA considering international leagues
