State Your Tactics v the Swiss - No Captain Hindsights

Recommended Posts

Strong at the back, don't risk pushing all our defenders too far forward as Swiss can be deadly fast on counter attacks and basically a 1-0 is always better than a 2-1 or a 0-0 better than a 1-1 at home. Keep them out.

Man on both posts for all corners, strong marking, don't worry about being too physical. We will have strength in depth for second leg should anyone get booked and banned.

Big G up for every corner and free kick. Josh to take all throw ins near the box if he's playing and have McAuley up for them too to head them on.

Davis to support the defence too and a pioneer a textbook 3-0 home victory.

But whatever Michael decides, it's probably better than what everyone on here says.

I think patience will be key. I don't want the players running round like headless chickens at the start and giving away dopey fouls

We aren't going through without a goal, and our best chance is at Windsor - so we will be set up to score, similar game to the Czechs at home would do rightly!

Not a chance we'll have 2 up front.

Yeah, if we end up with 2 up front it'll mean we're losing and have had to change approach and chase the game ...
