Starting 11 on Sunday

Recommended Posts

At times you forget Norwood is on the pitch. You don't get that with Saville. Would love to see him get longer even a start

100% agree. At times I don't know what he brings to the team.

Especially when his set piece delivery is as poor as it was on Thursday. But I can't see Michael dropping him

McGovern

McLaughlin McAuley Evans

McNair

Ward Davis Saville Brunt

Magennis Washington

If we need something and time is running out, id throw on Jordan Jones, he's a skilful winger and as MoN says, he gives you something different.

Would like to see 3-5-2 if Hughes is fit. Defensively solid and more of an attacking threat.

McGovern

Hughes McCauley Evans

McLaughlin Brunt

McNair Davis Norwood

Ward Washington

think this is my team assuming Dallas is out, McLaughlin and Brunt will have a lot of work gttimg back anfd forward, i would swap Norwood for McNair though

If we are chasing a goal Jones on for his pace, Magennis, Ferguson and Lafferty probably needed too

Switzerland are a big physical side I think taking both Lafferty and Magennis out would be a mistake one or the other but not both. Although Washington and Ward would offer us pace both are small and would easily get bullied off the ball. Would go with a 5-3-2 formation with 2 wing backs.

McGovern

J Evans. McAuley. Hughes

McLauglin. Brunt

Norwood

Davis. Saville

Ward. Magennis

Washington may be shorter but he is quite well built so I don't think he would necessarily be pushed off the ball that easily

silly question but does the away goal rule take effect in either leg or just the 2nd leg?

With a 0-1 away victory in the 1st leg, there is no scoreline where the "away goals rule" could apply.
