I see the BBC report on the Nations League fixtures , also talks about two friendlies

"During the international windows this autumn Michael O'Neill's side will also be playing two friendlies, to be staged on Thursday 11 September and Thursday 15 November, with opposition and venues still to be agreed."

I read that too and thought it was a bit odd, almost as if they are being forced to play two friendlies.

The Bosnia home game is the first of the two possible dates for the September international window. After the Croatia friendly, played after a qualifier vs Azerbaijan, Michael O'Neill said ""This was the first time we arranged a friendly match after a competitive game and it's something that we may not do again.".

(The Austria home game is the second date of the November window.)

I assumed that we would use the dates to hold training sessions rather than have meaningless friendlies. I guess we will have to wait and see what develops.

though they have a positive side to them as a few younger up and coming players should get a game

There is no room for friendlies if you're in a four team League (applies to 28 of 55 teams)

Wales 4-0 up at H-T (Bale 2, Vokes and Wilson)

You can get BBC Wales coverage on the BBC website - commentary in Welsh btw:

(Handy Hint: The Welsh for "China" is "China")
