dying to see Smyth get even a 30 minute go at the Korean's, between him & Jones should be interesting

thought Lavery was needed for the Iceland U21 game?

If Smyth is suspended for the U-21's, he might get his chance tomorrow.

But with 3 gk's and four withdrawals, Michael only has 18 outfield players left, some of whom may need careful handling, so Smyth and Lavery may have been called in to make up numbers for the seniors' training sessions? (Also integrates them further into the set-up, and can replicate/replace the training they would have done with the U-21's)

I actually think it makes it more interesting to see a few new/newish faces.

And if even only one* of them takes to the team and international football like eg Saville has done, then that will be a real bonus.

* - Jones? Lewis? Smyth even?

Agree , for me i would have liked to see big Laff , long time since he has been playing regular and scoring but chance for others

Going to be a bit of an experimental side then. Should we just expect to get beat and any other result is a bonus?

Ward usually a big loss but not on this occassion, gives some new players a chance to come out & impress MON

think we may have won with a strong line up, im going for a score draw now
