At first glance I thought that was one of Clint's teams until I realised you'd just left the hyphen out of our goalie's name...

Love big Josh.... But what about 1 of our new speed merchants up front, is that a more likely way for us to score?

Big Josh is in the height of his career to date. His confidence is sky high and he is amongst the top Championship scorers.

I think we have to give him his chance to show what he can do. Lord knows he has showed his commitment to us.

Magennis isn't particularly slow is he?

I can see MON starting Cory Evans in this one - a tough away game where we concede a lot of possession. And therefore Magennis starts up front on his own.

Can't see Saville, Davis and Norwood all fitting in though, unless Davis plays wide right. We know MON likes a bit of pace out wide.

quite like the look of this, we really need something out of this game, Lafferty big loss, not sure if Lewis can play CB maybe Flanagan can play there move Lewis in to left midfield at the expense of McNair?

                          PEACOCK FARRELL

               EVANS CATHCART LEWIS/FLANAGAN

DALLAS DAVIS NORWOOD SAVILLE   McNAIR/LEWIS

                         MAGENNIS GRIGG

4-5-1 - if we had Big G Michael would probably have reverted to a back three.

GK - BPF

DR - McNair

CB - Jevans

CB - Cathcart

LB - Lewis

RM - Jones

CM - Cevans

CM - Davo

CM - Saville

LM - Dallas

ST - Big Josh

I Will be absolutely amazed if Norwood doesn't start if he is fit

Goes without saying, we need a win in Bosnia if we're to progress, so that team should be an attacking one (Magennis, Grigg and Boyce up front in a 4-3-3?).

If we could get that, then a draw in Vienna would be enough. Therefore I think he'll go a defensive 4-5-1, maybe as below?

BP-F

McNair - Cathcart - Evans - Lewis

Dallas - Davis - Norwood - Saville - Ferguson

Magennis

(Fergie is a bit of a wild card, but he's back in the Millwall team, has played LB so should be able to cover Lewis, and offers good crosses and set-pieces from the left)

Last 20 if we need a goal: go 3-5-2 with Grigg or Boyce for Ferguson?

Possibly.

Or even Grigg and Boyce (for Fergie and Norwood) and go 4-3-3?

Would depend somewhat on what formation Austria were employing.
