Read the post today about the PSNI refusing to escort the two team buses to the ground....seriously wtf . Never heard of that ever before. Foster was at the game last night, surely a call from her to the Chief Con would sort that out. And as for the traffic access to and from the ground, dont even get me started on that.

happy with the 3 points, did we really  miss Norwood, from MON's comments he may not be back in June maybe September what is the story there?

What did O'Neill say about Norwood?

BPF - solid but too casual when under pressure clearing the ball

Dallas - good option at RB against lesser teams but defending will be found out if remains here

Cathcart/Evans - usual quality

Lewis - so much potential, experience will come when carrying the ball forward to pick the better pass

Davis - 1st half quiet, 2nd half dominated and stood head and shoulders above rest

Saville - solid, but like laff needs better sharpness over first couple yards

Lewis - a lot of potential, exciting prospect, needs to maintain possession better

McGinn - grew into the game and great to see him score, capable of scoring a lot more goals

McNair - just doesn't look comfortable in that position, obviously a presence to aid laff winning balls in the air but aided little I felt.

laff - works hard, but at home to a "lesser" team needed a man beside him to work off. this is were McNair fails as a number 10.

all round, positive performance, great result, bring on Sunday.

Was the atmosphere notably poor?

Seeing a lot of moaning and conspiracy theories about the IFA wanting rid of real fans/Ulster banners/National Anthems/the working class...

I didn't notice it being particularly quiet

It wasn't terrible and improved when the goals started going in... but it wasn't great.

Might have been nervousness/frustration about if we were going to score but it seemed more like people were just apathetic.

With a bit more drink on board and it not being a school night I'm hoping Sunday will be better.

Mostly all positive stuff from the whole team. Thought McGinn caused them some real scares with his runs and crosses. The big thing for me was the crap free kicks and corners. Most never got past the first defender and one free kick straight into the wall. Big Josh looks sharp but 3 of his shots were right at the keeper, who didn’t even need to move his feet.

I wouldn’t say Josh is the answer, but he looked a lot livelier than big Kyle last night.

I agree Jack, a lot livelier. If he had of placed at least one of those shots rather than right down the keepers throat. I would like to see him start ahead of Kyle on Sunday.

i haven't got the exact text,  it was along the lines "we should have him (Norwood) back for June if not then hopefully September fixtures"

why not June?

Found the link on the players page https://www.bbc.com/sport/av/football/47540295

I was thinking it was possibly because he might be involved in the Championship play-off final but thats 12 days before the Estonia game, surely enough time for him to be involved in both.

But the statement says personal reasons so whatever those reasons are they may not be resolved by June presumably

Watching that penalty again on the news last night we were fortunate enough to get it.

We though he'd given a free kick at the time. It was only when Davis went towards the spot that we realised it was a penalty.

As for the rights and wrongs of it. Well, the Estonian missed the ball and clipped the man. Soft maybe, but I'm not sure I'd go as far as wrong.

Anyway, it balanced up not getting a nailed on one in the first half.

Had my doubts at the time, but having seen it on TV it would have been given as a foul if it had occurred in midfield, so inside the box it has to be given as a pen.

Thought the ref was poor though.
