Are these fixtures still scheduled to go ahead?

Yes, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the 20/21 Nations League ditched.

I can't see this going ahead. If (and it's a big if) football returns by the autumn, the priority will be completing domestic leagues and compressing the next season.

If things do get back to some sort of normality a gawa party in Bucharesti could be on the cards rather than lose the cost of flights though..

How is it looking for the Nations League games going ahead?

Hard to say, apart from the inevitable likelihood that there'll be no fans in attendance.

This would be so much harder to police with testing than domestic football

And the clubs in domestic football across Europe will be arguing that their competitions should take precedence in what will likely be a reduced calendar and that theoir players will need protecting

Then factor in the travel restrictions, and maybe quarantines, which could well be in place through the rest of this year

I'd be shocked if the Nations League proceeds in 2020 as it will not be seen as the priority by UEFA either

Looks like that is me shocked then 😀

European Qualifiers Play-Offs and 2020/21 UEFA Nations League Group Stage

The national team football windows of October and November 2020 will now feature triple-headers instead of double-headers, thus allowing the postponed European Qualifiers Play-Offs to be rescheduled at the beginning of the respective windows, on 8 October and 12 November.

The group stage matches of the 2020/21 UEFA Nations League will be played on the following matchdays: 3/4/5 and 6/7/8 September; 10/11 and 13/14 October; 14/15 and 17/18 November 2020.

Friendly matches will be played on 7/8 October and 11/12 November.

The fixtures with confirmed dates and kick-off times will be announced in due course on UEFA.com

For travellers, it looks like than when they reshuffle the fixtures to accomodate the  Euro play offs that the away date in Austria will have to move?

Bosnia away is Oct 8.

Austria home has moved from Oct 8 to Oct 11.

Norway away has moved from Oct 11 to Oct 14. Unfortunate for anyone who had booked flights.

Potential play-off final at home on Nov 12.

Austria away has moved from Nov 14 to Nov 15.

Romania home has moved from Nov 17 to Nov 18.

Is this confirmed?

If so, I'm f**ked. Flight home from Oslo booked for October 12th, and flights home from Vienna booked for (morning of) November 15th.

It couldn't hurt to talk to the airline(s). They might change your flights. Nothing venture and all that.

Cheers for that, Chris.

Meanwhile, as of 11 pm tonight, the IFA still haven't loaded the revised match dates onto their (award-winning) official site:

Bloody Useless
